Factors affecting the shape of the surface:

1. Number of Functions:

For focal disease, number of microbe-based functions needed for health

2. Minimum Species Needed:

Minimum number of microbe species needed per function for each function to occur (same value for every function)

3. Donor Depletion:

Proportion of microbe community missing from a depleted donor

Factors affecting the location on the surface:

Sliders 4 & 5 affect FMT success rate, below, but do not alter the surface

4. Probability of Microbe Establishment:

Probability that each donor microbe species establishes in an FMT recipient

5. Species / Function (Intact):

Number of species that can perform each function in a fully intact donor (It does not make sense to set this lower than the value in Slider #2)

Success Ratio:

FMT success ratio from a depleted donor relative to an intact donor
